About 70% of these students were undergraduates, and approximately 41% were female. The overwhelming majority of SUNY Poly\u2019s students were from New York State\u201492.6%. Six percent of SUNY Poly\u2019s students overall were international students, and 1.4% were from out of state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2022-2023, SUNY Poly students were enrolled in 51 different programs. The most popular major areas among undergraduates were (Fall \u201922) Computer Science, Business, Engineering &amp; Engineering Technology, in addition to Interactive Media &amp; Game Design. Our graduate programs include Ph.D. programs in Nanobioscience, Nanoscale Science, and Nanoscale Engineering, an MBA program in Technology Management, and MS programs in Accounting, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Design &amp; Technology, Cybersecurity, Family Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner DNP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Included in the fall 2021 student population for which the latest statistics are available, there were 553 new full-time undergraduate students (out of 307 first-year and 246 transfers) who started their academic careers at SUNY Poly. They had a 79% and 82% first-year retention rate, respectively. SUNY Poly graduated 749 students in the 2022-2023 reporting year, including 331 from the College of Engineering, 105 from the College of Arts &amp; Sciences, 142 from the College of Business, 134 from the College of Health Sciences, and 37 from the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering. Among these undergraduate graduates, their average time to degree completion was 4.23 years for first-year, and 3.06 years for full-time and part-time transfers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Student Scholarships and Other Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A significant number of our undergraduate students receive financial aid:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>36<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Percent of our undergraduates who received a Pell award in 2022\/2023<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SUNY Polytechnic Institute enrolled 3,200 unduplicated students in the 2022-2023 academic year.
