It is with great enthusiasm and a profound sense of gratitude that I present to you the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Annual Report for 2023-24. This past year has been a transformative period for SUNY Poly, marked by historic investments, a new strategic plan, the infusion of new talent, and the initiation of groundbreaking programs and initiatives.
In this report, you will find detailed accounts of SUNY Poly’s achievements across various domains, including rankings, faculty research, student accomplishments, budget details, and more. The report also highlights significant partnerships and collaborations that enhance our impact.
All of us at SUNY Poly are thankful for the State of New York’s unprecedented investments in our institution. These funds will be pivotal in establishing our Semiconductor Processing to Packaging Research, Education, and Training Center, expanding our Health Sciences Wing, and renovating our nursing laboratories. These initiatives will not only enhance our technological and healthcare education, but also solidify our position as a leader in workforce development for our region.
This year, our community has also been invigorated by the arrival of new leadership and the advancement of key strategic positions. The expertise and vision of these individuals are already driving significant progress in their respective areas – all of which you will read about in this report.
As we look ahead to 2024-25, we are committed to building on this momentum. Our mission, vision, and values continue to guide us as we strive to offer solutions to society’s grand challenges and improve the health and well-being of our communities. With the support of our dedicated and talented faculty, staff, students, and partners, SUNY Poly is poised to lead in research, innovation, education, and workforce development. I look forward to all we will accomplish together next year, as we seek to educate, inspire, and transform.
Sincerely,
